Report calls for New Pre-K Focus on Math

Mathematics Learning in Early Childhood: Paths Toward Excellence and Equity, a report released last week by the National Research Council, calls for a new focus on early math skills, which have been neglected in comparison to the strong emphasis on early literacy by early childhood programs.
